Sterling and Parker’s love story began in college and culminated in a romantic proposal by the River Seine in Paris. The couple wanted a destination wedding that reflected their love for the beach, swimming, yoga, and golf. After visiting several wedding venues in Los Cabos, they chose the Hilton Los Cabos for its swimmable ocean, laid-back atmosphere, and high-class setting.
The couple had a wonderful experience working with Del Cabo Weddings to plan their wedding. They appreciated the team’s attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure their vision was brought to life.
The couple’s dream wedding included a breathtaking ceremony and reception on the beach. They wanted a timeless, elegant wedding, with Sterling’s dress featuring intricate beading and pearls, complemented by beautiful flowers. They wanted the after-party to be different so they brought The Office and Squid Row to the party, with colorful streamers hanging from the ceiling and Cabo headbands with funny sayings.
For the flowers, they worked with talented Aria Vera Floral to create stunning arrangements that complemented the natural beauty of the location. White flowers were growing out of the sand leading up to the altar, adding a beautiful and elegant touch to the ceremony.
For the reception décor, they wanted to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflected the couple’s personal style. The setup consisted of wooden tables draped in crisp white linens, and vintage-inspired glassware, adorned with lush florals and greenery. Many lanterns and candles provided a soft glow as the sun set over the ocean giving a warm, romantic, and effortlessly elegant effect.
Sterling did most of the wedding planning to keep it true to their vision, with Parker helping in areas he knew best, such as food tasting, and golf reservations. The couple researched different Cabo wedding planners and chose Del Cabo Weddings for their willingness to accommodate their vision. From day one Lee, their wedding planner, was able to alleviate a lot of the stress and anxiety that comes with wedding planning, allowing them to enjoy the process and focus on their upcoming nuptials. She understood their vision and ran with it, becoming more than just a wedding planner but also a friend.
